1947
A business partnership led to the way of the creation of a trading company called Howard & Husain. Core business at that time was the import and sale of fabric.
Mid 1950s
Dissolution of the partnership changed the company into Husain & Husain.
1960s
Husain & Husain partnership ended and sole proprietership by the name of M. K. Husain was introduced. Started trade of Chinese textile machinery in the Pakistani market for the first time thus becoming pioneers in this field.
1962
Husain Weavin Industries (Pvt.) Ltd. was started as a sister weaving concern of MKHCO. The status of this weaving wing of the company was later converted to that of a trading company.
1974
The company was converted into a limited liabilities company called M. K. Husain & Co. (Pvt.) Limited. Business increased to sale of fabric, machinery, individual parts and accessories.
1989
Apparel wing (of MKHCO) called Husain Apparel was started for production of readymade garments.
1999
M. K. Husain & Co. (Pvt.) Ltd. acquired complete sales and distribution of plastic ring and simplex bobbins for 10 years from Pegasus Textile Accessories Manufacturing Company (an offshore company of China Textile Machinery Corporation).
2003
Brand PLASTMA was created for PPRC pipes and fittings for residential and commercial clean water system in Pakistan.
2012
M.K. Husain & Co. (Pvt.) Ltd. started its Yarn Merchandising Department for Export
Today M. K. Husain is known throughout the Pakistani Textile Industry as textile machinery procurement, planning, installation and after sales experts, accessories and bobbin stockists and for JIT delivery throughout Pakistan (lead time varies from 2 hours to 3 days max.). Business growth has lead to continuous investment in large scale warehousing capability throughout the business life span to accommodate for large stock turnover of machinery parts, accessories, bobbins and PPRC products
Our continuous supply is from China, Korea and Taiwan. Apart from Pakistan, sales go as far as CIS countries and African nations.
